origami

I want to unfold myself
as if my personality were origami
folded against the grain
my very nature
bent backwards
and twisted
by everyone who had the privilege
of being a grown up
while I was a child.

I want to unfold
this paper
and erase
all the writing
of every ego
looking to see itself

I want to flatten
to iron our the creases
and fold it back myself this time
undoing the work
of idle parents
folding their paper
while watching TV.
